The Caravan, September 1-10, to the National Heirloom Expo, September 11-12-13 in Santa Rosa, CA began a Journey to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds. What will winning back our Sacred Seeds take? It begins with The Right to Know, The Right to Know the ingredients in our foods, as well as the claiming for ourselves The Right to Know some of our own food.
Knowing what to eat and how to to eat heathy foods goes with accepting that we are are compelled to grow some of our own food.
November 6--election day in California--is an epic moment when we can join near 50 other nations who Label GMOs in our foods, and yet how did we get in the predicament in the first place that the seeds we depend on to grow our food are owned by a handful of companies?
Growing Food is something every child needs to know. Knowledge of seeds and how to grow them is needs to be common knowledge that is taught in our schools.
We cannot look to Congress to defend our Right to Know. Special interests have for more than a century ago blocked the enforcement of the Pure Food and Drug Law of 1906. These same Special Interests would convince us today that we do not need to label GMO's.
Together, through the actions of the 7.5 Million + 2 Petition we are Growing the Greatest Grassroots Movement in CA History that will win Prop 37. 7.5 Million + 2, or a simple majority of those who vote November 6, are needed to win this. Commit Now to be One of the 7.5 Million + 2 who help win this.

There are many groups working independently to gather this 7.5 Million + 2 simple majority that will win November 6. I want to acknowledge and support them all. Numbers of their leaders have shown their committment through signing our petition. Together we will do this.

There was a slide show that preceded the Closing Ceremony that featured photos from the Caravan, September 1-10, and photos from the National Heirloom Expo, September 11-12-13, 2012. Some earlier photos, in prep for the Journey to save Our Sacred Seeds were also included.
The Caravan Prep began at the 2nd Festival of the Traditional Medicine for the Americas at Professor's Park in Tecate at the base of Mt Kuchemaa last May. Traditional Medicine Healers blessed the Caravan. The Days of the Caravan checked out with powerful days from the Aztec-Mayan Calendar that will culminate November 6 with Victory for Prop 37.
That Victory-is in our hands, each of our hands. We need 7.5 Million + 2 to Win This. Are you one of the 7.5 Million + 2 Committed now?
