MY REVIEW
Cancer: The Forbidden Cures, DVD by Massimo Mazzucco The Forbidden Cures (2010) has "definitive" opinions from lead AMA advocates that the cures expressed in this film could not possibly work because they are based on nature and stand well outside their medical model of surgery, radiation, and chemo.
This is a heart hurting journey and intro into the likes of Drs. and inspired healers for over a hundred years who found natural cures for cancer that were proven in their clinic experiences and would have been burned at the stake if the headhunters could have gotten away with it.
Numbers who stand outside the Conventional Medical Model are introduced well in this film and labeled "Quacks." Meet some of the most notorious "Quack" hunters in this video, including the infamous who went for the kill to keep "Modern" Western medicine front and center, and their invested interests in Big Pharma profits rolling in.
This film, is historically enlightening, and highly relevant coming from the recent #AIHM15 and personally witnessing more than 900 including M.D.'s, Acupuncturists, N.D.'s, and many others who are now coming together to establish an elevated Integrative medicine that aims to established a healthy America. According to this film, 1-3 had cancer in 2010; some say it is 1-2 now who will get it.
May our next 100 years tell a different story.
I did not go out to find this film. It somehow found me today and I took the time to watch it.

I'm noticing that some of the greatest innovators of our time and history have been labeled as quacks. It's difficult to believe that the slash and burn method of cancer modality is the best treatment we can offer for cancer that now comes close to one out of every two people. To call the methods of nature quackery simply because they exist outside our belief system, is something to be looked at. It's interesting to see that even acupuncture is considered quackery by some. Times they are a changing. Glad to see acupuncture and many other traditional modalities finding their place. The timeline is clear that if we continue in the direction we are now going,our national health bankruptcy Will bankrupt our economy.
Glad to have spent this week spending time among those on the front lines of the latest information available.

After watching the film Cancer: The Forbidden Cures that mysteriously fall off the symbolic book shelf of the Internet into my lap nov 11, and consumed my headspace watching and thinking about its content for more than three hours, I found myself seeking out the site Quack Watch to see what other healing modalities and practitioners had to extract themselves and clean off duck poop that the holier than thou members of the slash and burn cancer advocates had been smearing for countless eons on the faces of those who wanted to help uplift humanity but whose practices and healing modalities were off the map of perception or education of the established order of medical treatment.
I found myself looking up the word Quack and wanting to go take pictures of Mallard ducks at nearby organic City Farmers nursery.
Exploring the Quack Watch site I see where Acupuncturists are among those who have drawn their attention.
I highly recommend this film Cancer: The forbidden Cures that includes references to the potential healing effects of mistletoe, a 1000-year-old remedy also esteemed by Rudolph Steiner, and the potential benefits of simple baking soda that may have more value than we ever imagined.
I certainly believe in evidence and evidence-based supplements that are proving themselves as integrative medicine moves into the mainstream.
It may be time for the @PlantYourDreamBlog to take a second look at our history of medicine and those who have been pooh-poohed.
The annual #scrippsNatsup late January in San Diego may be a good place to bring out my favorite tie and coat and go looking to visit with the new heroes and heroines of the American dream who have taken The Hippocratic oath.

Dr. Bernard Jensen Is my spiritual father and on our first ride together in his car toward a little cabin in the woods he asked me to follow in the footsteps of Alfred W McCann, A muckraking author and advocate who wrote the book The Science of Eating during the World War One period. Perhaps the greatest Offering we can give on Veterans Day is finding a way to have no more wars.
