2014. My Missouri family arrives mid August to organize the seventh annual national Heirloom Expo, Tuesday-Thursday, Sept 5-7, at the Sonoma Fairgrounds, Santa Rosa, CA. I like to arrive around the time they do, to help educate about my Mission and promote their Histiry making event. Set up and tear down are a hoot. Volunteer with Lisa (417) 924-8917. Any Wiofers out there who want the time of their lives???

In the life of this miracle worker, who requires miracles to sustain what I do, I woke up today feeling disappointed and not motivated to get out of bed.
I went to my goto friend Lurrae Lupone, who always gives me practical solutions. She is author of the book #DesigningAHappierLifeFengShuiWithLurrae. Lurrae was my East Coast organizer in 2010, the year friend Kelly Shea helped me get to Natural Products Expo East. Everything fell in place. Lurrae and I traveled across five or more states, and the day before we reached Baltimore for @the natural product expo 2010, there just happened to be The Organic Listening Day at the USDA. I spoke. I made friends with the admin organizer. The next night, he was being giving an award at the expo before my organic group. He mentioned me. I stood up and got an ovation. The applause still resound in my head. It was a lifetime highlight.
Another time, years before, a couple days before leaving for my international debut, 1999, speaking at an ecology-Feng Shui conference, I fell down and broke a bone in my knee.
I traveled cross country on crutches and in a wheel chair. It was a powerful life shifting conference. Lurrae, again, was the instrument to make the impossible possible.
So today six days into a new regimen to see if I can reduce a renal mass naturally, and toying with the idea of driving north --No Matter What--to support and be at #heirloomExpo, National Heirloom Exposition (7th Annual) September 5-7, 2017, I need to overcome relationship disappointment, and a massive decision that may include delaying potential Western Medical intervention.
Right now I better tend to practical concerns:
Can I make sure my 68 VW is exceptionally road worthy?
When am I expected to arrive at @ExtendedStay Santa Rosa South?
Do I have the Spiritual Juice to get out of bed this morning, shake off the disappointments, make a necessary communication, and do what I need to do?
Go for it, Goldman!
I need to do my part.
The Universe will need to handle the rest.

Dearest Kelly Shea, you are one of my greatest friends who have lifted me up and understood what I was up to. You gave me confidence to know I had a place in the organic circle among our friends.
This has been a difficult day.
I have been getting different opinions about how wise it is to make my annual trip to the #heirloomExpo National Heirloom Exposition (7th Annual). Sept 5-7, 2017, Santa Rosa, CA.
It is a yearly initiation Spiritually, that gives me so much Vitality and Renewal. It gives my life meaning.
The last two weeks, I have been spending time in contraptions that seem like I am almost inside a coffin. They put a little button in your hand when they roll you into the machine to do the MRI, in case you go into a panic. When you go to take blood, the staff person asks if you are here for Chemo too? I guess I could have asked for an infusion if I wanted one. My condition is not yet diagnosed as other than a Renal Mass, but they see so many cancers that that is what they always suspect and where the economy of Health Care guides the multitudes.
The trip up North from my home to Santa Rosa has always been a perilous sounding journey. I have taken this journey five years in a row, and every time, I have had moderate to severe physical conditions that filled me with fear and self doubt; but regardless, I climbed Into my '68 van and successfully drove--sometimes alone--on this trip that ends up being more than 1700 miles.
Kelly dear, I believe in what I am doing. I believe that through my journey each year, I am making one person's statement that our #SacredSeed, our Soul life and the life that heirloom seeds can give us, are in peril, but there is a group of leading-edge farmers and gardeners and GMO activists the get together once a year for this profound reunion.
And aside from this my name is in the program for 9:30 AM, Tuesday, September 5, 2017, and my face is in the program right next to Robert Kennedy Jr.
I have a place there at this gathering and the Enchanted Garden Mobile is treated like the 50-year old celebrity that she truly is! My van is a featured exhibit.
I know you will appreciate this: This year on a local San Diego farm called
Terra Madre Gardens,
we grew an enormous 50 foot by five foot stand of Bob Quinn
ancient wheat!
Along the journey I will be asking everyone I meet to help separate the ancient grain from the chaff, that goes back to the compost.
That's a powerful metaphor for me, this separating what is real and sacred from the part that needs to be given back to the earth. At the expo, The children will have an opportunity to hand grind The kernels of wheat into flour, and then, my friend Fairlight Ahlgren is going to help turn it into risen dough--The Real Dough! How's that for a Campaign to Grow a Healthier Pizza. Win Back Our Sacred Seeds activity!
We are all going back to the soil sometime It's good to hang around here as long as possible so we can keep being of service and sharing love.
Kelly, I've gotten so much out of this most recent health opportunity.
Granted today I felt a lot of depression, in part because some of my childhood wounds, that come up in relationships, have been activated. I've been having difficulty getting out of bed, and then, dear friends took time to help lift me up, so that I can express myself here.
You and I are so lucky to have had so many rich experiences in life!

I have more than 10 books that are practically just one of a kind; I have written literature and recorded a profound history over decades, and as our mutual friend

says, if my photos were compiled in some kind of an exhibit, we would have quite a grand picture of the meaningful journey we have traveled, you and I.
I don't believe my journey is over, and yet this is a precious time to compile my A History Of Peace on Earth-#lesliegoldmanlegacywritings.
I am dangerous to myself when I cannot summon my enthusiasm for life.
I truly believe it's possible through natural means to shrink what in the West they often name with terrifying titles.
This will not be the first time, if I end up in the surgery room, that I will have an opportunity to be reading my love poems to the nurses in route to the scalpel.
But there is another possible journey, and I want to take it, no matter what.
