Carrot juice, a dirty house and me

I've managed to dodge a sick bullet. My resistence has been pretty low this fall season having caught a record number of colds. I've had more colds this one season than I've had in a few years together. I do credit it to episodes of depression and poor eating habits, plus weight loss. Whenever I've lost weight, I've always gotten sick periodically. Hence, I made myself a big glass of carrot juice this morning and put a capsule of cayenne pepper in it. I feel much better thanfully. Plus I got a lot of sleep last night. I didn't want to spend my last few dollars on OTC medicine. Today I'll be drinking mostly juices, esp. carrot and cucumber with lots of cayenne and goldenseal.

So here I am thinking about my diet and everything else. I'm also getting back into meditation. I did a guided meditation called 'crystal mermaid cave' that I composed myself to a special ipod playlist. It is an introduction to the long term 'eight gates' meditation. Aside from attending church twice a year! or saying the rosary, I'm NOT a ritual person. I do love my meditation. My years of turning inward to myself because of abuse has now come full flower to an advantage of the possibilities of a very rich meditation practice.

And yes there IS a Starchild Meditation too... I did this meditation years ago and had my second close encounter of the supernatural kind (really did happen!). More details are forthcoming I PROMISE.
