Grounding Method
A Method I Learned Once for Grounding Negative and Discordant Energies
Date: 9/15/2005 5:56:34 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 3271 times A while ago I learned a great way to ground negative energies that may be present in the body and energy field and replace it with positive energy. I think I was taught this method when I had my first Reiki class and attunement. It is a pretty simple visualization that doesn’t take too long. Here is how it goes:
Begin by visualizing yourself in the middle of a forest. You’re standing barefoot on the ground. Immediately see your feet plant themselves deep into the soil. Your feet begin to transform into roots which grow deep within the earth all the way down to the core where they are secured. This provides the feeling of structure and strength. Once you’re secure to the Earth, imagine any of the negative energy, thoughts or emotions that may be present within your body, aura or energy fields slowly flowing downward. You could see this energy as black or any other color you desire. Picture this flowing black energy as moving down through your body and out of the roots. This energy then flows into the core where it is grounded and transmuted. You can even ask the Earth to please send this energy back to the nothingness where it came from to the harm of none and for the good of all. You can stay in this moment until all of that black negative energy is gone. You will know there is nothing left when you can see yourself as an empty vessel.
Once you can see, sense or feel that everything is gone and you are now empty we are going to fill you up. So imagine that from the core of the earth golden liquid light is now flowing upward through these roots and into your body. As this liquid golden light flows upwards it brings positive and loving energy into your body, aura or energy fields. See the light fill you all the way up to your head.
Once you have completed this part, bring your attention to your body and notice that happy loving feeling floating around. Then bring your awareness back to your surroundings and open your eyes. The visualization should provide you with a feeling of being grounded as you are connected to the earth. Hopefully, you also feel a little bit lighter as the negative energies have now been released and replaced with positive loving energy.
