i poured enough water in the pan for a large plastic cup, so probably about 3 or 3and a half cups total. i don't think it matters about the amount of water. just get that tea green with the seeds. i only drank it for 3 days, and i will continue to drink it until i run out of the seeds i bought. i put about a tablespoon of the seeds in the filter. nothing is exact.
