24 Hour Water Fast
Date: 3/8/2009 11:11:04 AM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 1779 times I've enjoyed the weight loss from the juice fast. I felt some health benefits, but not significant improvement in my symptoms.
I will be water fasting one day a week. I'll see how today (Sunday) progresses on water. I may choose to water fast on a weekday while my family is at school and work. That will probably be the easiest for all.
I have transitioned to a high raw vegetarian diet. I'm still trying to trend toward vegan, but unable to get 100% vegan groceries I can afford. I eat salads with vinaigrette, and multigrain Cheerios. I also eat various trail mixes.
The Sarcoidosis in my sinus seems to have affected my sense of taste, so I don't really enjoy eating. Good for me I guess, less binge eating.
I'm working toward a goal of 160 pounds.
Currently I'm 189, up from 184 at the end of my juice fast.
