"Terrorism is an excuse for mass surveillance. Its about economic and population control." Edward Snowden, September 14th, 2016.
November 22, 2016 (The 53rd anniversary of the events of November 22, 1963 with its epic-center at Dallas, Texas.)
"Last week, President Obama told German media that Edward Snowden "raised some legitimate concerns" but that he couldn't pardon him without the whistleblower first coming home to appear before a court.
That's not quite right. Our Constitution gives the president the power to pardon anyone he wants, even in the total absence of legal proceedings. Take Richard Nixon, who Gerald Ford pardoned before any charges were filed.
