Re: Some solid information
"Chlorine dioxide is a chemical compound with the formula ClO2. This reddish-yellow gas crystallizes as orange crystals at −59 °C." (about the temp of Brucies brain)
("More absolute rubbish from the support forum brains trust!
Sodium chlorite is 50 times more toxic than chlorine dioxide JAB say's,
this is absolute rubbish, so it's bumble rubbish." - Per Brucie)
Anyway it could not be 50 times more toxic since it is essentially just the same thing in solid form....
Since Cl02 is a gas there is not an oral LD50 possible...only dermal and inhalation.
But since there is some confusion in Brucies frozen brain about what these terms mean.. 284/MG/KG (ORAL-RATS) means it takes 284mg of 31% Sodium Chlorite solution per KG of RAT to kill 50% of the rats in a specific length of time. (Sorry I forgot the time factor on an LD50 rat study)
The following is from an MSDS from a Canadian company:
SODIUM CHLORITE
LD50: 284 MG/KG (ORAL-RATS)
LD50: >2,000 MG/KG (DERMAL-RATS)
LC50: 0.29 MG/L (4-HR. – INHALATION-RATS)
