Thanks for the description of the meditation you are doing.
I am curious if you also combine any kind of of mindfulness in this, as well? I have read a lot about mindfulness and PTSD.

You are right, I do understand and relate to everything you said about what you were experiencing, especially the part where you said your body turned every which way to continue to deny and avoid the pain. This was with me, as well and it took me to a place I never thought I'd be - self-harm. What I learned was that healing only comes when you being to acknowledge the pain and bring it into the light. With the help of my psych and EMDR, this task has required more courage than anything I have ever done.

Thank you for posting. It contains a lot of Hope for healing. I bet you are a very strong person now, having to go through all you went through, and successfully coming through!
