I tried taking a large dose of vitamin C since yesterday and I believe it's putting a lot of stress on my kidneys. I've had lower back pain all day today and I've just been feeling pretty unwell in general.
I've just made the connection that eating fructose caused me back pain which must have been my kidneys. I'm now worried about kidney stones.
It seems unsafe to me to continue taking large amounts of vitamin C in this situation. What do you think?
