Re: liver pain: no disease. congestion?

I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

From reports in the group I would not expect AI/AF to cause the liver problems.

Is your cholesterol low? The body makes adrenal cortex hormones such as progesterone from it.

Progesterone could be related to the menstruation issue.

Maybe due to the anxiety/stress your body is "stealing" adrenal cortex hormones in order to make more cortisol.

The liver problem might be keeping you from processing normal body chemicals such as norepinephrine/noradrenaline and related chemicals--phenols, sals, etc. These can make you feel "amped up" and contribute to anxiety.

I'm not pretending to know what you need to do; just providing leads for you to consider.

Maybe there is an underlying cause or contributing factor involved in quite a few of your symptoms. For example Dr Mark Hyman says heavy metals were involved in his similarly long list of symptoms when he was a young doctor.

Check out the lists of symptoms under the 1000+ hair tests at this site used by detox groups.

When mercury is involved, we usually see adrenal fatigue and mood problems. Thyroid and gut problems are very commonly reported as well. Sadly most of the most difficult cases also involve liver problems. These people typically take many years to recover. They don't tolerate many of the supplements and or medications that non MCS folks often find helpful. There are some encouraging progress reports from people with MCS. This is one of the most encouraging ones I've come across.

Many of the people in detox groups visited many doctors with little help for underlying causes. They more commonly are offered psych meds, maybe a little medication for thyroid and candida, etc with only modest improvement.

Good luck.

Joe
