Hey CF,
It sounds to me like what happened to you might have been a combination of post-flush mineral-deficiency combined with some kind of reaction to the white powder gold. The body always has to adjust whenever drastic changes are made to one's diet; I highly doubt that alone would have caused such a dramatic reaction, but you would know more than anyone.

I hope you feel better and keep us updated if you figure it out for sure!
