Preparations for the Eight Gates Meditation

Date: 12/14/2005 9:11:14 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2281 times Today is my day off from work. Hence, I've picked today as the day to clean my room. Not just clean it but CLEAN it kosher style, like clean every little corner of the room. I just can't meditate and pray in a dirty room. My room and car have come to reflect my life sort of *LOL*
Also, today I decided to give up dairy completely. I don't want coffee anymore either. I got some instant coffee for my sister last night and had some this morning (with soy milk). So I've lost my taste for milk and coffee all at once. I was thinking about meat eating since my fiance eats meat and the idea just makes me ill. I know I'll never eat meat again in this lifetime which will be a LONG lifetime either way.
I took some pics of my dirty room so you all can be grossed out by it :-) Kinda like before and after. I also have before pics of myself! I won't post those till much later but I promise I'll post a pic of myself in my waist training corset. I'm ordering it from romantasy.com and yes it's expensive but WORTH IT!
Okay I'm off to run errands for the day. I'll be checking back in with more news and post the details of how to prepare for this meditation, including the prelude 'rainbow doors' meditation.
