Hi Bubba:
Vit C is like vinegar. They both make your body acidic. The question is is where is the PH of your body to start with, One needs to know this prior to using either. As far as using them with the liver flush, I do not know. The PH of your body should be 6.2 to 6.6. If you become too acidic you will have the runs. If you are too alkaline you will be constipated.
