Sherry Rogers report one patient that was not responding to nystatin. She gave her nizoral. Everytime Sherry wanted to cut her dose in half, her symptoms came back in matter of days and she had to be bed ridden again. After more than a year on nizoral she was cured (read in the book environmental illness from Sherry Rogers).

Sherry says that some patient see no improvement until they are on long term azole.

Orian Truss was using large dose nystatin for long term and he says this condition is almost always correctable. He insist in lenght of treatment. May take years. Improvement are gradual. It's hard to perceive them on short term because path to recovery is full of up and down.
(6 months is short term in matter of treating chtronic candidiasis).
