Hi,
very frustrating at first isn't it. There is a book I would like to recomend that can help you to understand the principles that eating like this is based on. It's called "sick and tired? reclaim your inner terrain" by Dr. Robert O. Young, a micro-biologist and nutritionist. As to the question about coffee and sweeteners. Coffee is acidifying and toxifying to your body in the way it breaks down in your digestive track. That increased acidity is part of what supports your overgrowth. Artificial sweeteners have basically the same problem, the produce an acidifying ash when digested. If you would like to talk directly about some options you do have, then feel free to email me and we can talk ( [email protected] ). There are also some really good supplements that can help you to speed along the process of regaining your body's pH balance much faster than just diet changes. Talk to you soon, and take care, Mike
