Spiritual juice fast/feast
back to fasting...it works!
Date: 3/13/2010 8:36:06 AM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 2108 times Folks I'm juice fast/feasting this weekend. Not even doing the green smoothies this week. I'm wanting to finish off Lent in a wonderful way and get really focused.
Today:
half a banana blended down in a sm cup of green juice
coffee
resveratrol cap
liquid vitamin D
ginkgo
amino acid tab
The green juice was leftover from last night. I stopped eating yesterday afternoon when I decided to go back to fasting and not eating. I decided to take on my old childhood issues holding the Lord's hand. This weekend I'm juicing, next week I'm doing green smoothies and not luxurious ones either, as simple as I make them. Friday I may be doing a water fast and giving up the big C for one day. We'll see. It's my day off from work. I can go sit in the sauna after church and pray.
I felt totally led of my spirit and I did bring to the Lord in prayer yesterday afternoon. I also asked God for the will to get up and go to Mass and receive Holy Communion. I DID this morning. Totally awesome. Isn't God good? My intention is to go to mass every day and receive Holy Communion every day. Only God knows what truly needs to be healed in my spirit and body.
