some info on daniel fast and my shift

Yesterday's shift well surprisingly well, esp since there was a GINORMOUS CAKE. I picked the blueberries and strawberries off the top but I decided that I wouldn't even LOOK at that cake anymore. The strawberries apart from the green smoothie are a pleasure food and not in line with the daniel fasting principle. I found myself getting sad that I wasn't in my routine anymore of stopping for tea and a protein bar on the way home. I was cutting that out anyway because the protein bars are expensive at the gas station. I was thinking I still have to ride my bicycle to work why did I go on this fast anyway? I thought I was going to eat for sure when I had a confrontation with staff. Oh well any small victory.
