Halloween... Not Just Costumes and Candy

I am sure that's what the Jewish Jesus intended, for capitalist Christians to buy cheap Santas from atheist communist China.
I look at Halloween and think of honoring my dead family, the Halloween of my ancestors (the European half) was about harvest. For me it is about a shadow view, a hello from the spirits of my dead family, friends and my residents. Old folks who were close to me and their spirits, their energies remained behind. Can't tell you how many times I've working 11-7am shift and callbells in empty rooms go off or I've seen a ghost wheeling themselves down the hall.
So in a town with three big Catholic churches, I'll go and light candles tonight. So very nice to do because they appreciate it.
