Day 17

It was a salty kind of day...

Howdy everyone!  It's day 17.  Three more days and I will my next mini-goal of 20 days.  So far my absesses have subsided.  I think I might actually be entering the rebuilding phase, which is when your body has finally gotten rid of pollutants and is now working on dead/dying cells and replacing them.  My skin feels so soft!  It feels like baby's skin.

I am still having strange cravings.  For example, this morning I had a taste for those little coctail weenies.  ?  Strange.

Sugardarling asked how much weight I have lost: ~14 lbs.  However, I have (what I think is) a funny story about weight:

Yesterday I wanted something warm, so I went and bought some vegan bullion (sp?) and made vegetable soup base with nothing else in it.  Needless to say, there was 1000mg of sodium from the sea salt.  The first bowl was fantastic!  Then I freaked out and had a second.  (I wonder if that was a chemical dependency on salt - or just poor behaviors, which got me to this weight to begin with.)  Anyway, after ~2500mg of sodium, I was drinking water like crazy - and retaining it because of the salt!

I have a BMI scale, and fat does not conduct energy well whereas muscle does.  So if you are dehydrated, it thinks you have more fat giving you a higher BMI reading.  So this morning, after my gluttony of salt, I was super-saturated to say the least.  According to the scale, I gained 3 pounds (of water), yet I showed that I had lost 2.5% of body fat.  It made me laugh.  But then again, most anything will at 4:30 in the morning.

Last night I took an epson salt bath, which I highly recommend!!!  I was awesome!  The salt helps pull toxins out of your skin.

Anyway, until tomorrow.  Have a great day!
