What Your Doctor Did Not Tell You

Problems with diarrhea after gallbladder removal are common. I had IBS-D before having my gallbladder removed and after the surgery, it got even worse. Finally---after years of telling my doctor about this---she prescribed Cholestyramine (generic name: Prevalite). What a difference it makes! Also, try eating 2 teaspoons of flaked coconut each day. I read about this before I got the Prevalite and was quite surprised that it helped!
