Re: Crohns and Gallbladder surgery

I was diagnosed with Crohns disease in 1995. I had my gall bladder removed November 2003. I was told that there was a very slight risk that the diarrhea would increase, but the truth it is has tripled! The symptoms of the gall bladder disease has disappeared, but sometimes I think maybe I would be better off if I had just kept my gall bladder. I was told that other treatments would not help, but no-one told me of the more serious side effects that I have read about. I take tablets that are supposed to stop the diarrhea but they don't work. It doesn't matter what I eat or drink, I am in the toilet between 5 - 10 times a day. I believe that alot of bile is draining into my bowel, and would like to know the side effects. I can't find this info anywhere. Would like to hear from others who have the same experiences.
