I just had my gall bladder removed 3 weeks ago and had diarrhea 3 to 5 times a day . I had about a minute to make it to the bath room when i felt the urge to go.

I had some left over percocet and took one before bed and that keep me regular the whole next day, but i know i cant take narcotics daily for diarrhea so i searched for something else.

I read on this post someone said try metamucil, so i did.

wow! what outstanding results first day i took 1 teaspoon in water at bed time and again in the am and at lunch. i had a regular bowel movment in the am and in the pm , diahrerea was gone ,totally under controll.

Further research said metamucil will lower blood suger in diabetics, lower cholesteral and you feel full so it s easy to lose weight and i no longer have diarreha, oh and its a good bowel cleanser which can prevent cancer. wow cant beat it.I am going to try to take it only once in the am and once in the pm.that sould do.
