What in the world...I can't believe you are splitting hairs about everlasting punishment and punished forever, they mean the same thing and give the same idea. My passage came from the New International Readers Version, which is a real translation...it's not something I made up. If you go on biblegateway.com you will see that there are several versions of the bible available, I could have just as easily gotten it from the Message bible, KJV, Amplified bible etc....

Matthew 25:46 (Amplified Bible)
46Then they will go away into eternal punishment, but those who are just and upright and in right standing with God into eternal life.

Matthew 25:46 (New King James Version)
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

I hope this makes everyone happy. I just can't believe I'm being criticized on what version of the bible I got my passage from...truly unbelievable. And not only being criticized but rudely criticized. If you want to use the KJV that is your choice as it is my choice to read or reference any published version of the bible that I choose.
