I was badly craving salt in the bad Stage 2 and Stage 3 parts of my adrenal fatigue. A good side of that was I got really attracted to Thai food and mastered cooking it, which is rich is fish sauce and VERY salty.
... I just couldn't get enough salt... but AFTER I started the C + Glutathione + B5 protocal for a few weeks - the salt craving decreased. I started to feel optimistic, knew things would be okay, and I started to not want to pour huge amounts of fish sauce and
Sea Salt onto everything.
I took this as a sign that my adrenal function was improving somewhat... and I consumed less salt. Maybe the reducing of salt in my diet contributed to the crash?!?!
I will take your advice and try extra salt in case of a crash, to step it off, and pay attention to my electrolyte balance.
How much salt do you take if you get close to a crash?
p.s. Before I knew about AF but was still having a major crash about every other week.. I used cannabis to stop the anxiety cascade into oblivion. Sometimes it stopped the crash, sometimes it agitated me more. And sometimes going off of it creates a hazy and uneven feeling that can make me more irritable and crash prone,.. so I'm trying to avoid cannabis.
