Re: Please Help
Hi there. I can relate to your post on many levels as adverse reactions to medication has also gotten me to were I am today. And yes antibiotcs being one of them. What I have learned is that it is all related to inflammation in the brain and body. When you have an infection of any sorts it creates inflammation in the body.
Antibiotics can also throw your gut flora off and create more inlammation. Inflammation messes with all sorts of processes in the brain and the body and your brain gets kind of stuck sending off inflammatory signaling which also disrupts other signaling processes like the signal to send for cortisol from the adrenals. Cortisol is the bodies natural anti inflammatory therefore not enough of it increases inflammation. Inflammation also sets off a vicious cycle of adrenaline to decrease the inflamation which in turn when having too much adrenaline causes more inflamation. So it is like constantly alternating the gas and the brake in your body at the same time. The key is to find out what is causing so much inflammation. Could be coming from gut imbalances, thyroid, nutritional deficiencies (mine comes from having very low ferritin iron)
food allergies , ect. And yes inflammation and adrenaline can cause all sorts of weird reactions to things. It is not that you are allergic to things per se, but over sensitized because of inflammation. It can cause burning sensations and pain. My head and body feel like they are on fire a lot ot the tme. And yes I have two children and they are sometimes the only thing that has kept me going. I lived with all sorts of strange symptoms and reactions to things for a long time too and then crashed badly. Was able to make progress over the year but didn't exactly keep on my doctors plan because I am so frghtened of medication and have ended up back at square one again and really struggling. If you would like information about my doctor you can p.m. me. He is one of the only doctors in the country that specializes in the whole body. He is the kind of doctor you go to when other doctors cant explain what is going on and people from all over the country go see him. Anyways if you would like to talk feel free to contact me as I can undersand where you are coming from. Take care.
