I too, ironically for the past 5 years, have been suffering from anxiety triggered IBS and extreme.. uh, gas. Mine doesn't come out, I hold it in and it is PAINFUL. Mine usually occurs in the morning if I wake up before I am supposed to, and when put in social situations.
I'm still looking for a quick-fix, but what has helped me is an herbal remedy called Gastro Calm (it even cures hiccups!) and... well, this may seem far fetched, but I have severe food allergies and don't realize it. My immune system is so accustomed to fighting off EVERY (not exaggerating) EVERY food I consume because I am allergic to it, that I don't even have an allergic reaction that I can notice. Just that annoying IBS and air! So try to check into the allergies and Gastro Calm... and keep us posted on what works!
