Trevor Bopped His Eye
Trevor was playing on the park equipment at the ball field today and took a hard slip into the metal stairs of the "new" play ground...why on earth they use this metal crap covered with a little rubber coating i will never know....but he sent his left eye into the metal and made a nice goose egg.
He looked like a professional boxer all day. Luckily, I take the sprays to the games and have been able to keep the purple out all day, so it is just puffed up white.
Nature knows best, the swelling is the banage to hold everything in place.
I opened a new bottle of BF&C syrup and he drank 4 ounces and boasted he could drink the whole bottle; because he "knew" it was good for his eye...at age 5, he just "knows" what is good as far as herbs go.
So, as he sleeps he has a large glob of B&W and a patch over his eye till morning...if all goes well, the B&W will aid in the healing and hopefully the swelling will be gone within 24 hours of the accident.
With Spray I
he was pain free all day and that is nothing but short of amazing, because it had to have hurt real bad all day under normal "non spray" days....but with the sprays, he played all day as though it never had happened.
Mom was gone all day, so she seen him 8 hours after the fact and about "flipped", but he had taken a nice hot bath and quikly got banaged before mom came home, because he didn't want her to see.....the funny thing was that when he got to a mirror, he was studying his goose egg and noticed its shape and size, etc...and was "admiring" it.
So how do other people raise kids with out BF&C and B&W???? and pre-spray days??????? Yikes...can't imagine life back when I was a kid when you just cried yourself to sleep and had scars to show your battle wounds.
