Supply & Demand

Just as I figured, the wholesale price of pure oregano doubled from this time last year. As the market is created for this product, the manufacturer is of the type that it will screw every possible customer for the maximum it thinks they can charge. The more Oregano is used, the more they are going to charge! They sale some essential oils for way over $1,000.00 for a small bottle, simply because they have the market for it. 10 years ago Oregano wasn't being used for much of anything, after 10 years of Dr. Cass and many others spreading the word, now the manufacturer sees more $$$$$ profits...

I have avoided raising prices on the oregano oil from day one. Every year I pay more and more and now "if" I buy it again, it will be double or more. so naturally after today, no bottles larger than 4 ounces will be sold. If the price doesn't come back down, then no bottles larger than 1 ounce will be sold. If it doubles again, I won't sell it beyond 1/2 ounce or may take it off the list permantly and keep what I have for making products.

Last year the owner warned that the usa will one day ban the product or put such import taxes on it that no one will want to buy it. Such is the signs of times.
